Wet n Wild Does Halloween

Hey guys so these are the polishes that I purchased from Wet n Wild's halloween collection( well except Night Prowl). The polishes from l to r are Night Prowl,Blue Jitters, Night Owl, Dark Shadow, and Black Fog.

*excuse my alligator skin..yikes*
Yes I was being lazy I really didnt feel like swatching. So here they are thumb to pinkie the same as the bottle shot above. This one is sans *without for the non french speaker*topcoat.

And here they are with topcoat. Is it just me or does Night Prowl kinda resemble Ch G Mummy May I which I showed yesterday. * Me thinks I need to do a comparison soon* I think my favorite of these my pointer *Blu Jitters* because its got the blurple base with the blurple mircoglitter so depending on which angle you look at its purple, blue, or a mixture of both. All of these swatches were 2 coats except for Black Fog *which by the way is not black at all its dark blue*. The other two dont really interest me. In the bottle Night Owl *middle finger* looks really cool black cherry base with holo micro glitter but on the nail it totally overpowered by the base( basically they wasted holo glitter because you cant even see it on). Dark Shadow * ring finger* is really dupey its a basic black with silver microglitter, seriously nothing special here if you already have a black with silver glitter then you dont need this.
Well I hope everyboo-dy has a safe and spooky Halloween.

ChG Awakening Collection: Mummy May I & Zombie Zest

This is Mummy May I. She is a purply fuschia glitter in a dark purple base. This was a must have for me because of the strong resemblance to Deborah Lippmans Bad Romance. Plus you guys know I love purples.

Ok so Zombie Zest is my reason for buying this set. This murky dismal *chile I still loves me some Rainbow Brite* olive green is glass flecked and just gorgeousness. This is 3 coats as this sheer. The pictures really dont do it justice its darker irl.

Anywho is it just me or all the names for this collection just kickass. Because its a holiday collection I beleive it is limited edition so go get these asap before they are gone. I just love how China Glaze does holidays.

This showstopper is Ick-a-bod-y. Its a orange glitter suspended in a murky green base. This is 2 coats with topcoat. Im surprised at how much I like this one.

I love Boobies (Candy Coated Boobies)

Or mine at least. Hi guys because this month is Breast Cancer Awareness month *though its almost over* everyone has been posting pretty pink manis and I wanted to jump on the bandwagon. So I wanted a post where I could incorporate all my pinks without alot os swatching. If you hadnt noticed its not really my strong point. Anyways when I first saw this mani on Katrina's blog I wanted to try it but I wasnt sure how it would turn out but then I saw it again over at Cosmetic Cupcake. So I was like what the hey I might as well give it a try. So here is my variation. I forewarn you its not that great.

Black n Blue French

So this is the NOTD I just finished doing. Im really loving this look. I not going to lie I hate color blue( I blame that on working at Wal-Mart. I hate tan as well) but absolutely love blue nail polish. Does that make sense? Probably not but Im weird I know anyways. These snowman which I purchased at Rite-Aid *oh how I love thee* don't list the colors on the label, it just says snowman. The blue is actually blue on the nail than it is in the bottle I was expecting it to be more silver and other is just silver holographic glitter in a clear base. Holo the snowman as he shall now be called is droolworthy when the light hits it. Anyways thats all for now. Oh and the black LA Colors art deco in black.

Length Check and then Disaster Struck

So these were my nails when I did my length check last week. Oh how I love this length I cant believe my nails are this long. Who would have thought that a ex habitual nail biter would have digits that look this great.

And then disaster struck on Monday. Still not sure how it happened but it did. I had a tear down in my nail bed that hurt like the dickens. I would have patched it but I could find any glue and it hurt to damn much. I cried dead ass. Im so damn sad about this.

Ok brace yourselves *shudders*

scroll down

no not here a lil further down

STOP
*Eeeek*

Oh and by the way if your wondering the polish Im wearing is Wet N Wild Eggplant Frost. Get a load of that gorgeous blue shimmer. *Drools just think about it* This is actually the messy manicure I just took off.

Im still breathing

Im still alive and well. Its just I have no really computer access except my phone and my blogger apps all stopped working for whatever reason which is the reason I havent been posting. I fully appologize for that and I promise to make it up to you guys and gals very soon. Ive been buying up the bar as usual ( bar meaning any and every store I can find eyecatching colors).

Dupe Alert: Color Club Pure Energy vs. Nina Blu Blaze

So I snatched up and I really do mean snatched up 2 Color Club collection set at Ross on Sunday. I got the Poptastic and ElectroCandy sets at $7.99 each you cant beat it with a stick.

When I got home I added them to my stash spreadsheet. It wasnt until then that I realized that Pure Energy of the electrocandy coll highly resembled the Nina polish I wore on last wednesday. So decided to do a bottle comparison.
Same shade of blue and exact same blue/green/teal shimmer.
Honestly if I hadnt polished my nails myself I would have have known these were 2 seperated polishes or which finger was painted with which. Though I will say that Blu Blaze though it dries to a semi matte is way shinier than Pure Energy.  With that being said all pictures are with topcoat.

Excuse the shot of my naked thumb. So I really dont see the need to have both of these polishes in your collection. If I have created a lemming for anyone with this post Blu Blaze is more readily available at Sally's Beauty. Or if your like me you can go stalk your local Ross to see if you can find the ElectroCandy set.
So which do you own either of these polishes if not both and which do you prefer?

September Haulage 2010

So basically this is semi big purchases I did last month. One from the beginning of September and on from last tuesday. So I guess Ill start with tuesdays purchases.
I picked up 3 Sally Hansen mini polish set at Big Lots for $2.50each. Unfortunately none of them have names printed on them. ( So my next trip to Rite-Aid the salelady will think Im crazy when she sees me doing bottle comaprison in the aisle trying to find full sizes of several of these.) They also had the Nail Tek Step 1 primer on clearance for 2.99 so I picked that up as well as a $5.00 Revlon manicure gift set because it had a glass file. I should have gotten 2 of each now that I think about it.

from l to r: ChG five golden rings, Nina Blu Blaze, ChG golden enchantment, and moonlight
In Sallys I picked up 4 polishes from the clearance table.  I had a buy 2 get a dollar off coupon for China Glaze so since they were on $1.99 on sale I ened up getting them all for about $7.50.

Everything below I purchased from Transdesign.

from l to r: China Glaze lubu heels, high maintenance, and first and last
from l to r: China Glaze mummy may i, zombie zest, ick-a-bod-y, fast forward topcoat
from l to r: China Glaze devotion, joy, and  awaken
 China Glaze Emerald Fitzgerald
Nail Tek  foundation II

So what have you hauled lately and do you see anything here that you own or that your just dying to get your hands on?

Nina Ultra Pro Blu Blaze? I think

Well I picked this up on Tuesday from my local Sally's Beauty for $1.99 on the clearance table. It was unlabeled. So I'm not so sure on the name but when I googled Nina Ultra Pro, Blu Blaze is the name that popped up on the Sally's website. So please do correct me if I'm wrong.

This is a gorge blue with a pretty bluish teal shimmer. It was fully opaque in 2 coats. It dried incredibly fast to a semi matte finish. All pictures are sans topcoat. So without further ado.
