Day 2: Orange Nails
Not really much to say. This is Color Club Wham! Pow!. I seriously hate the name of this polish because of the useless punctuation. It's very bright very spring. Here's to hoping we don't get any snow in Maryland this winter. Well i have to go curl Brianna's hair for school. Enjoy the pics.

NOTD:Revlon Hushed Blush
Happy Holidays Luvlies. This one of the Revlons that I picked up from Big Lots last week. They have the two packs for $2 (so if you have been drooling or Galaxy or Belle go check that out mine had tons of them). Anyways this was in the pack with Galaxy. Now I admit this probably not a color I would have given a shot had it had been sitting alone. I got the pack because I needed Galaxy but once I saw Hushed Blush I was smitten. This was actually the one I was the most excited to wear out of all the new polishes I got last week. Its like a golden peachy coral beige-y color if that makes any sense. I cant explain it but its so demure and adult and sophisicated so not my usual vampy, moody or eye blindingly bright colors. Its calming and I love it. So enough talk and allow me to introduce Hushed Blush...
So until next time

Ruby Kiss Haul
I picked these polishes up at a beauty supply store on Wednesday. I was looking for some brown polishes because
Now this pretty is Sun Tan. She is a bronzy golden color. This color is perfect for fall/winter months but just as appropriate for summer as it gives off that perfect summer glow. This was 2 - 3 coats depending on the nail.
Now this is Reflection. This was my favorite out the bunch. It also gave me quite the headache trying to photograph it because none of these pictures show it how I see it. I picked this up thinking this would be the brown I was looking for. In the bottle its a bronzy plummy brown if that makes sense. That also translates well over to the nail. Yet all the pictures I took it looks garnet with copper shimmer.
And this is Steel Magnolia. *I Love that movie* I admit I got this more for the name than for the color but for 99 cent who cares. This is a steely charcoal grey that almost looks black in some lights. I actually am wearing this right now. As you can see I stamped the fair isles flowers off my bundlemonster plate in white on them and mattified them with E.L.F matte finisher. Ive been wearing this for 3 days and have slight tip wear. Im still on the fence as to whether or not I like this color. So far Im leaning towards not so much.

NOTD & Haul
So today, well yesterday was a great day. Also known as pay day. *oh The joy* So since I really wanted to get out the house and Brianna needed new shoes for school we took a trip to the mall. But before I get ahead of myself we went to the local BSS and walgreens. At the BSS I racked up on several sinful colors and a clean colors polish, polish thinner, and cuticle remover. In walgreens I got conditioner and spotted a sinful polish I didn't see at the BSS. Claires had a 10 for $10 sale so I got 3 polishes (no mood polishes becuz I refuse to pay $5 for claires lacquer ~ its so not worth it). Then we went to see Eclipse at the theatre( I know I'm the last human on earth to see it) it was pure awesomesauce.
Now back to the scheduled programming. My new mani of the day is from todays haul Sinful Colors What's Your Name and accent nail of Sinful Colors Call You Later. post cleanup
pre cleanup look at how awesome the sparkle is

NOTD: SH DVD

So my nail of the day is kind of a two-fer because I wasnt the only one in my house rocking this charmer. Sally Hansen's DVD is my new favorite polish. My aunt has been wearing this since I did her nails like 3 wks ago with weekly touch ups. This is my second foray with wearing this polish. Ive only used this polish a handful of times and the bottle is already a third ways empty so Ive been trying figure how I can get the polish to stretch. Its a beautiful color but it takes 3-5 coats to get it opaque enough not to have VNL. So my trick is to layer 1 coat over 1-2 coats of black lacquer. Oh the joy this polish brings I could stare at this all day. Well my little twin Brianna is also sporting this color because she wanted grown up nails like her mommy. Grown up nails really?? It seems recently Ive been turning my family into as big of polish junkies as I am. Ive got my cousin wearing Pure Ice Wild Thing (my fave shrek green polish). You know its bad when we go shopping and I should buy just so they can wear them. Talk about enabling my habit.

NOTD: Wild Thing
Well I took my falsies (tips) off on Sunday or Monday because I really need to let my nailbeds breathe. Im in the process of letting my nails grow back out. Sidenote Im an ex-nail biter and fake nail enthusiast which neither of the latter is very healthy in my opinion. I still on occasion find myself with my fingers in my mouth. Well let be get back on track. This lovely that I've been wearing since Sunday by Pure Ice is Wild Thing. Wild Thing is a true shrek green with a really great consistency it wasnt too thick or too thin. This is technically a one coater but I used two. This is the second time I've tried out this polish in the last two weeks. The first time being on my falsies and the second on my natural nails. The only drawback I've seen so far is that they stained my falsies something fierce even though I used a basecoat. Which is part of why I removed them. So I did two coats of basecoat this time. I really have not had a issue with tipwear. So anyone knows a good nail hardener and and something to strengthen and grow them please let me know?

NOTD: Purple Passion infused Love Letters
Well last post i hinted about what an absolutely gorgeous marriage these to polishes make. So I felt you should see it for yourselves. This is 2 coats of N.Y.C.'s Love Letters layered over 2 coats of Maybelline's Purple Passion and topped off with one thin coat of Poshe topcoat. Isnt she a beauty this picture was with no flash just sunlight from my bedroom window. This mani is super cool because Love Letters makes Purple Passion look metallic and gives it holo tendencies. Mere pictures do not describe this because they cant capture the pure essence of this glorious union. This will probably be my two most used polishes this summer because it just screams "Fun in the Sun". So what do you guys think you, do you own any of these polishes and how do you like them?

NOTD: I Lilac it when You Kiss Me Here
Ok so this is the nail of the day. It starter off as the plain lilac and grey french but then I decided to try my fauxnad plates and see how it looks. The polishes used are pure ice Kiss Me Here and e.l.f.s Lilac. I got the kiss me here when i went to walmart looking for the pure ice Wild Thing they had and I spied this gorgeous grey and just had to have it. Ive had the lilac for a while now and never used it so i thought I'd give it a try. Boy was I surprised when it turned out to be the cutest french manicure Ive ever had. So sorry that my hands look horrendous are the cuticle and whatnot hadnt gotten around to clean before I snapped the pictures.

NOTD: Sunny Side Up
This a polish that I love how it looks in the bottle not so much on my hands. I got this beauty on a mini nail polish shopping spree last week. Its wet n wild wild shine in Sunny Side Up. So I sandwiched Sunny side up between 2 coats of white polish and 1 coat of Poshe super fast drying topcoat.
Side note: I'm totally in love with the Poshe topcoat and I finally got my hands on a bottle of the Nailene Acrylic Strong topcoat.
Taken with flash is very true to color.
Without flash looks like a totally different color this picture resembles wet n wild blazen( how ironic that's one that never photographs well)
