Mani- Fail

This monstrousity of lovely neon brightness was my attempt at a stained glass affect manicure. It didnt turn out so well in my opinion. Though I love how nicely the colors compliment each other. I thought the colors would be a problem because of how close they are on the color wheel. Its funny I like the awesomely badness of this mani. Ill defintely use these colors together again maybe in a sponge affect or water marble if I ever figure that out. Oh Im sorry in all my rambling I forgot to tell you all the colors I used. The colors are WNW Wild Shine in Sunny Side Up, N.Y.C. Time Square Tangerine Creme, E.L.F. Fire Coral, and LA Colors Art Deco in Black . Until next time Lovelies.

Rite-Aid Haul

Well I went in Rite aid (my fave polish hauling store) for cold and sinus medicine because I'm all stopped up. As you guys well know its highly impossible for me to go into any store and not peruse the cosmetics aisle. Low and behold rite aid was having a BOGO 50% off sale on Sally Hansen Maybelline Loreal And Cover Girl. So I got two of the Sally Hansen HD lacquers in DVD and LITE(which came with a free gift of full size Double Duty base&topcoat). Then I came across to Wet N Wild I just had to have in my collection Dreamy Poppy and Lavendar Creme. I topped that off with a Kiss acrylic fill set, Nutra Nail growth formula plus green tea and acai berry, and 3 N.Y.C.  lipsticks in Mahogany, Cafe, and Violet Shine. I stopped into Dollar General to see if they had refilled their supply of Poshe super fast drying topcoat. The two they had left I snatched up with the quickness and that was the end of my polish hauling. Now I'm off to do some swatching. Also I missed E.L.F.s 60% off sale yesterday but I went and ordered all the polishes except the 5 I got for free in my last order as well as their new matte topcoat. I will probably do a comparison between that and China Glaze's matte topcoat. Bye Guys Happy Polishing.

Punched in the Kisser

First off Happy Independence Day everybody. Well sorry for not posting sooner Ive been uber busy and quite tired as of lately. Now down to business this is the fauxnadicure that I did on the 1st. Two coats of Maybelline Papaya Punch over a clear basecoat. The design comes from the bundlemonster image plates and it was stamped with N.Y.C. in White tip. Sorry for the short post havent been feeling really inspired as of lately.

NOTD: Purple Passion infused Love Letters

Well last post i hinted about what an absolutely gorgeous marriage these to polishes make. So I felt you should see it for yourselves. This is 2 coats of N.Y.C.'s Love Letters layered over 2 coats of Maybelline's Purple Passion and topped off with one thin coat of Poshe topcoat. Isnt she a beauty this picture was with no flash just sunlight from my bedroom window. This mani is super cool because Love Letters makes Purple Passion look metallic and gives it holo tendencies. Mere pictures do not describe this because they cant capture the pure essence of this glorious union. This will probably be my two most used polishes this summer because it just screams "Fun in the Sun".  So what do you guys think you, do you own any of these polishes and how do you like them?

Dollar Tree Haul

Well I hit up one of my favorite stores (Dollar Tree) and one that I despise (Wal-Mart). Had to go to Walli-World to pick up the bill money my daddy and step-mommy sent me. God knows I love those guys. Anyways per usual I couldnt go there without stopping thru the cosmetics aisle to see the pretty polishes and make-up. Well I picked up 3 N.Y.C. polishes Big Money Frost, Central Park and Love Letters. Since we missed the bus we went to the Dollar Tree because I wanted to see if they still had those 6-packs of glitter because I wanted some to do some frankening. To my dismay they didnt have any. Now usually I never buy the 2-pack Maybelline polishes there because alot of times they are ugly but not today. Since I saw four that I liked I put them in my basket along with three acrylic paint pallettes. Now why did I have to buy four 2-packs  of polishes because the pretty colors were packaged with ugly colors. So I have Maybelline Express Finish in Mauvin' Metallic, Fucshia Flash, Prismetal Purple, Papaya Punch, Bolt of Blue, Raisin Run, Purple Passion, and Mocha. I especially  love the way Love Letters looks layered over Purple Passion or Fucshia Flash. If anyone has tried any of these how do you like them?
